A sane ZFS scrub schedule for a two-disk mirror
Monthly is plenty for consumer disks in a mirror. Weekly scrubs on a busy pool mostly buy you extra wear and slower evenings.
zpool scrub tank zpool status -v tank
Watch the CKSUM column over time rather than reacting to a single non-zero value.
