Reading Raspberry Pi throttling flags without guessing
vcgencmd get_throttled returns a bit field. Bits 0–3 describe the current state, bits 16–19 tell you what happened since boot.
$ vcgencmd get_throttled throttled=0x50000
0x50000 means under-voltage and throttling occurred earlier but are not active now. Usually it is the power supply.
